Low Country Shrimp Boil for Tailgating

A great way to feed a large tailgating crowd is with a Low Country or Shrimp Boil. Be the hit of your tailgate with a simple setup.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Pounds Shrimp
  • 8 Pounds Sausage Such as Andouille Sausage, Sliced
  • 8 Ears Corn Cut into Thirds
  • 8 Pounds Red Potatoes Leave Whole
  • 2 Cups Old Bay Seasoning More if your prefer more spice

Equipment

  • Stock Boiling Pot

Method
 

  1. Fill a Stock Pot with water, making sure to leave some room for all the food items you will place in the pot
  2. Pour in Old Bay Seasoning and bring to a rolling boil
  3. Once the water has come to a boil, drop the potatoes into the pot
  4. After around 20-25 Minutes, Add corn to the pot
  5. After another 10 minutes, add sausage to the pot
  6. Once sausage has been in for around 10 minutes, add shrimp and remove in 3-4 minutes or until the shrimp is no longer opaque.
  7. Pull the strainer and allow most of the water to drain.
  8. Dump entire contents on parchment paper or newspaper and enjoy!
